1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the LumiRoute platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept these terms, you must not use our service. These terms apply to all visits and uses of the platform.
2. Description of Service
LumiRoute is a fiber optic service brokerage and comparison platform for Canadian businesses. We aggregate availability and pricing from third-party providers, facilitate connections between businesses and providers, and manage the service lifecycle. LumiRoute acts as an intermediary and is not itself a telecommunications service provider.
3. Eligibility
The LumiRoute service is intended for businesses and professionals. By using the platform, you represent that you are authorized to act on behalf of the entity you represent. Access to full features requires creating an account with accurate and up-to-date information.
4. Accuracy of Information
Availability and pricing information displayed on the platform is provided for informational purposes based on data received from third-party providers. LumiRoute strives to ensure the accuracy of this information but cannot guarantee its completeness or timeliness at all times. Final prices and availability are confirmed during the rate lock process.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes consistent with these terms. Prohibited uses include: using the platform for fraudulent or illegal activities, attempting unauthorized access to our systems, disrupting platform operation, collecting data by automated means without authorization, or reproducing or redistributing our content without written permission.
6. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities conducted from your account. Report any unauthorized access immediately to [email protected]. LumiRoute reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account for violations of these terms.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the LumiRoute platform — including text, graphics, logos, algorithms, and interfaces — is the exclusive property of LumiRoute or its licensors and is protected by Canadian copyright and intellectual property laws. No commercial use of this content is permitted without prior written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, LumiRoute shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the platform. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount of fees paid to LumiRoute in the preceding 12 months.
9. Changes to Terms
LumiRoute reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on this page. For significant changes, we will notify you by email if you have an active account. Continued use of the platform after modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and applicable federal laws of Canada. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Quebec, subject to any alternative dispute resolution mechanism agreed upon by the parties.
